Terms of service

You sign in with a Google or Microsoft account. You are responsible for what is done under your sign-in and for keeping it to yourself.

A workspace belongs to the company it was created for. The owner of a workspace decides who joins it, what role they hold, and when it closes.

Crafteny is for businesses and organizations pursuing federal contracts and grants. You must be 18 or older to use it.

Plans are monthly. You can change or cancel at any time; a change up takes effect at once, a change down or a cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for. There is no annual plan and no lock-in.

Each plan includes a number of pursuits, revisions, Quill credits and storage, as set out on the pricing page. Allowances are monthly and belong to each workspace; unused allowances do not carry over.

Nothing beyond your allowance runs or is charged without your agreement. When a pursuit, a revision or a question would go past what your plan includes, Crafteny asks first.

No plan charges by the user. Your whole team works in your workspace.

Payment is taken by card through Stripe. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that apply to you. If a payment fails, we tell you and give you time to put it right before anything is paused.

Crafteny matches you to federal contracts and grants, reads notices, estimates value, builds budgets, ranks and connects you with partners, writes and reviews packages, verifies your registration and watches award notices. It does this from public federal records and from what you put in your workspace.

Everything Crafteny writes is a draft for you. You read it, you decide what to change, and you decide what to submit. Crafteny does not submit anything on your behalf.

Crafteny is a tool, not an advisor. It does not give legal, accounting or contracting advice, and nothing it produces is a guarantee that a bid will win or an application will be funded. The decision to bid, the price and the submission are yours.

Crafteny charges for its plans and nothing else. We never take a share of a contract or a grant you win, and we never charge a fee that depends on an award. Federal rules prohibit contingent fees on federal contracts and grants, and we would not charge them if they did not.

What you upload, what you write and what Crafteny writes for you inside your workspace is yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the platform for you: to store it, to show it to the people you have given access to, and to use it to write your own drafts.

Your documents are not used to train any model. See the privacy policy for what we collect and who can see it.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, and for what you send to a partner or to the government.

When you invite a partner to a pursuit, they see only what you send them. Agreements drafted on the platform are between you and your partner; Crafteny is not a party to them and does not advise on them.

The directory of registered firms is drawn from public federal records and is offered as it is published. Confirm a partner's standing yourself before you rely on it.

Use Crafteny for your own pursuits or your clients'. Do not use it to misrepresent a company, to submit anything you know to be false, to scrape or resell the platform or its data, or to interfere with the service for anyone else.

We may suspend a workspace that breaks these rules. We will tell you why.

We aim to keep Crafteny available around the clock and to tell you before planned maintenance. Federal sources sometimes go down; when they do, the parts of Crafteny that read them wait, and we do not invent data to fill the gap.

You can close your workspace yourself, from Settings. It is scheduled for deletion and you have 30 days to change your mind; after that it is deleted. Export everything first if you want to keep it.

We may close a workspace for a breach of these terms, or if a plan goes unpaid after we have told you and given you time to fix it.

Crafteny is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the outcome of any bid or application, for decisions you make on the platform's output, or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you in any twelve months is limited to what you paid us in that time.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, and any dispute is resolved in the courts of Texas.

When these terms change in a way that matters to you, we will tell you by email or inside the platform before the change takes effect. The date at the top is the date of the current version.
